How can I set up Security Alerts in Online Banking?
- Log in to Online Banking using your Password/PAC (Personal Access Code) and click Messages and Alerts.
- Click Manage Alerts.
- Set up and choose your options for security alerts.
Security Alerts give you relevant, timely and specific notifications that enhance the security and convenience of your online banking experience. Some security alerts you can add are:
- New Payee Added
- Personal Access Code (PAC)/ Password Changed
- Online Banking Account Locked Out or Incorrect PAC
- Online Login
- Interac e-Transfer contact added
What are the outgoing and incoming Interac e-Transfer limits?
- Outgoing e-Transfer limits are: $10,000/day, $30,000/week, and $90,000/month.
- There is no Incoming e-Transfer limit.
What is Two-Step Verification?
Two-Step Verification (2SV) is a security feature that strengthens online and mobile banking security by using 2SV during high-risk activities. It uses a risk engine to assess user activities, establishing typical member usage patterns by device, location and other habits and making it easier for fraudulent behaviors to stand out. When a new login location or device is used, or suspicious interaction is determined, the member may be prompted to enter their one-time password sent through SMS text or email.
What are the daily Debit Card limits?
- The daily ATM withdrawal limit is $500.
- The daily POS/In-Store limit is $1,000.
How can I set up Autodeposit (Direct Deposit) in Digital Banking?
- Log in using your Password/PAC (Personal Access Code) or Biometric Login.
- Click Transfers or if using the Mobile App, select Interact e-Transfer.
- Select Autodeposit.
- Enter an email address that is unique to Parama and not used elsewhere.
- Select the account you would like the e-Transfer to be deposited to.
- Confirm acknowledgements and register.
Setting up Autodeposit is safer than using a security question and password. Autodeposit is a convenient and secure feature that doesn’t allow passwords being intercepted by a bad actor. Avoid the extra step and ensure your funds are deposited securely.
