How to Join
- Parama Credit Union welcomes you in-person at either branch to apply for a membership and open an account.
- Please bring two (2) forms of valid government-issued ID (including one (1) with a photo ID), proof of address, and your SIN. Examples include: a driver’s license, passport, proof of citizenship, etc.
- Plus, $40 to purchase a share, to become a part owner. The cost of which is returned to you when you close your account.
- To schedule an appointment, please call us or complete our secure and convenient website form.
- Accounts are also available for youth (trust), organizations, associations and businesses. We require additional documentation to open these types of accounts, so please inquire with one of our Member Service Representatives. They are always happy to help!

If you are opening a business account, please provide the documents listed above in addition to: Articles of incorporation/association, trade name registration (if applicable), and name/address/occupation of all individuals with 25% or more of interest in your business. If the organization solicits donations from the public, please provide the CRA number. If you have been in business for longer than 12 months, please provide one (1) of: Certificate of Incorporation, Compliance, Continuation, or Letters Patent. Please make sure to set up an appointment at a Parama branch and that the business owner and signing authorities are all present.
