How can I set up Security Alerts in Online Banking?

  1. Log in to Online Banking using your Password/PAC (Personal Access Code) and click Messages and Alerts.
  2. Click Manage Alerts.
  3. Set up and choose your options for security alerts.

Security Alerts give you relevant, timely and specific notifications that enhance the security and convenience of your online banking experience. Some Security Alerts you can add are:

  • New Payee Added
  • Personal Access Code (PAC)/ Password Changed
  • Online Banking Account Locked Out or Incorrect PAC
  • Online Login
  • Interac e-Transfer contact added

How can I set up Autodeposit (Direct Deposit) in Digital Banking?

  1. Log in using your Password/PAC (Personal Access Code) or Biometric Login.
  2. Click Transfers or if using the Mobile App, select Interact e-Transfer.
  3. Select Autodeposit.
  4. Enter an email address that is unique to Parama and not used elsewhere.
  5. Select the account you would like the e-Transfer to be deposited to.
  6. Confirm acknowledgements and register.
Setting up Autodeposit is safer than using a security question and password. Autodeposit is a convenient and secure feature that doesn’t allow passwords being intercepted by a bad actor. Avoid the extra step and ensure your funds are deposited securely.

How can I download a void cheque in Digital Banking?

1. Log in to Online Banking or the Parama Mobile App.

2. Navigate to the void cheque option:
 • Online Banking: Select Account Services > Void Cheque
 • Mobile App: Select the account, the tap Account Details

3. Download the void cheque:
 • Online Banking: Select the account, click Submit, then Download
 • Mobile App: Tap Download Void Cheque (PDF)

The void cheque for the selected account will appear in your downloads as a PDF.
Note: Void cheque images are only available for Chequing Accounts.
