Job Title: IT Systems Administrator

Role Summary:

Reporting to the IT Director, this role manages and secures Parama’s endpoints and core IT environment with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies (Intune, Defender, Entra, Group Policy). While the role includes an element of user support, the emphasis is on system administration, security controls, patching, deployment, and compliance.

Work Arrangement & Hours:

On‑site presence is expected, prospects for hybrid arrangements may be arranged post‑hire. Core work occurs during daytime hours. Planned maintenance windows are occasionally scheduled in evenings and on weekends and will be balanced with daytime scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and reinforce Windows endpoints and related services; manage patching, deployment, and standards enforcement.
  • Perform daily system health checks; monitor alerts; remediate incidents.
  • Support access management and enforce security practices in line with policy.
  • Improve and document operational procedures and device baselines.
  • Assist colleagues in the effective and secure use of technology.

Requirements:

  • 5–10 years’ experience in endpoint management and security across Microsoft platforms (O365, Intune, Defender, Entra, GPO).
  • Strong troubleshooting, scripting familiarity (PowerShell preferred), and customer service orientation.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server, networking, printing; exposure to AV/security cameras an asset.
