Job Title: Risk Officer

- Salary Range (Base): $80,000–$120,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications).
Role Summary:
Drive and maintain Parama’s enterprise‑wide risk management framework, translating Board‑level risk tolerances into practical processes, indicators, and reporting structures. Specific responsibilities will align to the strengths of a successful candidate and are expected to evolve culminating in a direct Board‑facing role over time.
Work Arrangement & Hours:
Primarily business hours (9–5) with occasional flexibility for Board or governance‑related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evolve and refine ERM frameworks, KRIs, and reporting structures.
- Perform and report on risk assessments across operational, financial, and compliance areas; monitor emerging risks and regulatory changes.
- Partner with business leaders to embed risk awareness and control design in daily operations.
- Support audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory reporting.
Requirements:
- Post‑secondary education in finance, business, risk, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in risk management/compliance/governance in financial services or other regulated sectors.
- Strong analytical, communication, and change‑leadership skills; technology‑savvy.
